Raisin Farmer Ale is a homage to Rhett & Ryan’s grandfather and Cheryl’s dad, Al Gomes, a Caruthers raisin farmer for more than 50 years.
The blue tractor is what Cheryl drove growing up in the vineyards alongside her dad.
In the weeks preceding his passing, Rhett would visit him daily bringing him a maple bar, coffee and chatting about the brewery. It was during these visits that RFA was inspired.
Rhett remembers his grandpa saying: “You’re going to go broke buying coffee & doughnuts for me every day. Better get to work.”
Raisin Farmer Ale (RFA) 5.6% ABV — Red mahogany appearance, a malted body with a vein of Caruthers raisins that showcases it’s structural integrity. Sweet aromatics with an earthy edge of valley sunshine surrounds this legendary beer.
